Scottish Social Housing Charter Consultation

The Scottish Government is currently undertaking consultation on the draft Scottish Social Housing Charter (The Charter).

The Charter was introduced by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010 and the final document will be approved by the Scottish Parliament early next year.   The Charter will set out the standards and outcomes that social landlords should be achieving for tenants and other customers through their housing activities.   It will replace Performance Standards for Social Landlords and Homelessness Functions.

The Scottish Government has developed a special website dedicated to the Charter this can be found by following this link  Scottish Government's Charter Page

This website contains useful information on how the Charter document has been developed so far and allows anyone to comment on the latest draft of the document.   People visiting the dedicated website can download a copy of the consultation draft document and join in the online conversations.
